Rueda is a region in North western Sprain in the greater area of Castilla y Leon. Verdejo is a very popular white grape grown in that particular area. It is great because of how well balanced it is.
Three generations ago, the Family Bodega Ramon Ramos started among grapes, wine and oaks, together with the knowledge acquired from parents and grandparents created the pillars of Tardencuba.
The new generation has brought up new knowledge, has opened the world to this wine and given a colorful and dynamic touch that makes Tardencuba a traditional wine cellar but aware of the present needs.
The winery consists of 1000 square meters building, divided into three parts, elaboration, aging and bottling.
The Ramos have in total 200,000 liters of fermentation capacity. They have 300 barrels French and American oak. The place where the winery is located has a total of 7 ha. of which 3 ha. are planted with vines.
Tardencuba is known for its brilliant ruby with light flashes.
This particular light wine is has great tropical notes of stone fruit, peach, citrus & pineapple. Coupled with a subtle minerality.
Tardencuba is not too light, not too bold, not too sweet, nor acidic. This makes it great for pairing with food.
You’ll find it great particularly with things like fish, Prawns, grilled pork, cured meats & cheese as well.
Great feelings when marinated with olive oil smeared over fresh bread.
